Brake Pads for Life – Program Details

  1. Customer must own the vehicle that was purchased under the Brake Pads for Life Program
  2. Customer must have all service done at CarOne
  3. The program covers Brake Pads only. Does not cover rotors, brake hardware or labour.

Customer must follow recommended maintenance schedule and have all of those services performed at CarOne.

This program does not cover the following: Vehicles employed in commercial use such as exotics, taxi, police, but not limited to.

Inspections and all other recommended maintenance. The customer did not follow maintenance guidelines for a vehicle.

Additional Conditions:

  1. Participation in this Program is non-transferable.
  2. CarOne retains the right to refuse any vehicle under the Brake Pads for Life Program if determined the customer has abused the Program
  3. CarOne reserves the right to cancel or modify this Program without prior notice.
  4. Certificate must be presented upon request.

Tire Advantage Road Hazard Program Details (Tires for Life)

Terms and Conditions:

  • Coverage is limited to the repair (maximum $40 per occurrence) or replacement of tires damaged by a road hazard as per definition below.
  • Tire(s) must be repaired or replaced by CarOne
  • Commercial vehicles, vehicles used for competitive driving or racing, or special application vehicles such as police, taxi service, delivery, etc. are excluded
  • If an eligible tire(s) cannot be safely repaired per industry standards and guidelines, tire(s) will be replaced as per tire replacement provision below

Definition: Road hazard damage occurs when, during the course of normal driving, a tire fails as a result of a condition on a public road. Punctures, bruises or impact breaks resulting from nails, glass
and potholes are examples of road hazards.

Coverage Term: This Program covers eligible tires for a term of 36 months or 60 000 km from the vehicle’s date of purchase, whichever comes first.

Flat Tire Repair:

  1. Coverage is limited to the repair (maximum $40 per occurrence)
  2. Tire(s) must be repaired by CarOne
  3. If an eligible tire (s) cannot be safely repaired per industry standards and guidelines, tire(s) will be replaced as per tire replacement provision below

Tire Replacement:

  1. Tires will be replaced when an eligible tire is damaged due to a road hazard condition and cannot be safely repaired per industry standards and guidelines
  2. The tread depth (wear remaining) is at or below 3/32”.
  3. Tires must be replaced at CarOne
  4. No reimbursement will be made for tires purchased elsewhere. Emergency road hazard replacement is not considered normal wear and tear. CarOneTire Advantage Road Hazard Program covers emergency road hazard replacement provided serviced a CarOne
  5. Tires replaced under the provisions of the plan will be either OEM specified or comparable in kind and quality, that is, replacement model or manufacturer may be different than the original
    equipment. Tires will be replaced with the same size and performance rating that came on the car. (that is, Speed rated / Load rated).

Exclusions – this Program does not cover the following:

  1. Vehicles employed in commercial use such as delivery, taxi, police, but not limited to.
  2. Tire repairs or replacements made by anyone other than CarOne.
  3. Failures to tires when any part of the tire tread that comes in contact with the road has a tread depth of 3/32” or less.
  4. All customized vehicles where the customization has led to driveline/engine performance modifications or suspension/alignment modifications. The vehicle must remain OE or stock, except
    for enhancement additions such as masks, deflectors, interior dress-ups.
  5. Expenses incurred as a result of the unavailability of the vehicle are at the owners’ expense. Freight, towing rental
  6. Liability for damage to property, injury to or death of any person arising out of the operation, maintenance or use of the vehicle whether or not related to tire damage
  7. The benefits of this Plan are secondary to any other coverage provided by CarOne or other party.
  8. Certificate must be presented upon request.
